What Causes Your Hair Loss!

hair_loss_patterns_in_men_and_women Other than physical health, your hairs are the most important feature that put a fairly large share in determining your overall appearance. Healthy and radiant hairs are a sign of youth for men and of beauty for women. But all of us are not lucky enough to grow beautiful hair and there are many others who lose them as an age factor or due to any other cause. In fact, there are plenty of reasons that may initiate or aggravate your hair loss. Some of the usually found hair loss causes are:

Genetics: Gene pool is the reason that works behind male pattern baldness, the most common type of hair loss in males. If you are a male and your father has a bald crown or a thinning hairline then there are high chances that your genes have inherited it. In such cases, gene pool determines the extent of balding and also the age when the individual will start hair loss. It is also found in women to some extent.
Poor nutrition: An imbalanced diet lacks nutrients that hairs need to grow and stay healthy. Protein, iron and zinc deficiency causes thinning of hair and ultimately hair loss.
Stress: Individuals who are more prone to anxiety and stress are more likely to lose their hair as stress slows down blood circulation and roots of hair do not receive needed blood supply. Shortage of nutrients and oxygen makes your hair weak and they fall out eventually.
Medication: Certain medicines that are widely used for diabetes, heart problem and blood pressure affect your hair follicles and may cause permanent hair loss.
Infection: Infections like fungal infection, scalp infection and microscopic mites restrain supply of nutrients to hair and cause hair loss.
Traction: it is the pressure that you put on your hair through hairstyle. Tying your hair in a way that puts weight on some of the strands damage roots of the hair and may harm hair follicles in extreme cases. This traction may cause permanent hair loss.
Trauma: Traumas like childbirth, surgery and severe stress also initiate and aggravate hair fall.
Hair treatments: Some hair treatments and cosmetic products are too good to damage your hair. Highly concentrated shampoos, conditioners and other products harm your hair, eventually. Likewise, hair treatments like rebonding, straightening, perming and dying make your hair look splendid for time being but harm them in long run.
Poor scalp environment, air and water pollutants and infection are some of the rarely seen reasons that initiate hair loss.
No doubt, hair loss is a depressing situation but, treating it in the first priority will not only stop your hair fall but may also stimulate their growth. Choose the best hair treatment and save your hair!
